The Ellansé line, by Aqtis Medical, is a range of safe dual-action dermal fillers designed for treating skin rejuvenation and facial sculpting: Ellansé S & Ellansé M. The fillers are non-hyaluronic and consist of a mixture of CMC gel and PLC providing the fillers with the popular 2-in-1 action. The dual-action gives immediate and longer-lasting results (up to 24 months). A NON-HYALURONIC FILLER WITH COLLAGEN STIMULATING EFFECTS
Unlike most filler injections offered on the market, Ellanse fillers are not based on hyaluronic acid, but instead, they contain a mixture of polycaprolactone (PCL) and a CMC gel (carboxymethyl cellulose). The unique composition makes Ellanse a safe alternative to hyaluronic acid fillers and is a great anti-aging treatment to improve the skin quality with several times longer-lasting.
When Ellanse fillers are injected into the deeper layers of the skin, the CMC gel provides an immediate lift and volume to correct facial wrinkles and folds. Meanwhile, Polycaprolactone (PLC), a well-known bioresorbable soft medical polymer, stimulates the body’s natural generation of type I and III collagen with long-term results. Since it is a collagen stimulating filler, Ellanse is not recommended for use in the tear trough area or the lips.

Ellanse fillers are well-known for their long-lasting results that can last up to 24 months depending on the Ellanse option. The difference in the longevity of the products is based on the numbers of PCL molecules in the filler, which stimulates collagen production and prolongs the effects. The longer the PCL polymer chain length is, the longer the results will last. Results obtained with Ellanse fillers are instant but continue to improve the following months after the treatment.
